This common concrete culvert crosses 597th Avenue near Cambridge.
Built in 1913, it carried the Milwaukee Road across the road. Presently, it carries the Heart of Iowa Nature Trail.
This design is extremely common for crossing over roads and streams. The bridge can be classified as either a concrete box culvert or a concrete slab.
